OctaBIM was founded by Benedetto Alessi, a BIM and Digital 

Construction specialist with 15+ years of hands-on experience 

in the AEC industry.

Having worked as a BIM Specialist, educator, and PhD candidate 

researching Digital Twin methodologies for the built environment, 

Ben saw the same problem repeated everywhere: AEC companies 

struggle to find verified BIM talent, and skilled BIM 

professionals struggle to get found.

OctaBIM exists to fix that. A focused, vetted talent platform 

built specifically for the BIM community — no generalist job 

boards, no noise. Just the right people, in the right roles.

When needed, OctaBIM draws on a trusted network of external 

advisors — industry specialists across recruitment, legal, and 

AEC technology — to ensure the platform continues to meet the
